Daily Care
Volunteers
Our volunteers are the heart of our organization and play an important role in the daily care of our horses. They help to: feed the horses each morning, keep them clean by grooming and washing, and assist with other daily chores.
Specialized Care
Farrier
Our farriers at Hawley Forge visit the O.A.T.S. horses every 6 weeks in warm weather and every 8 weeks when the weather is colder. The farriers are responsible for the care of our horses hooves. They keep the hooves trimmed and balanced. Farriers also remove horseshoes, shape new shoes and place them on the horses' hooves. Only a few of our horses here at The Farm wear shoes.
Dentist
The care of our horses' teeth is critical to their well-being. The herd receives regular dental examinations from Veterinary Dental Referral Services to ensure that they maintain their healthy and beautiful smiles.
Veterinarian
From routine care of our herd to emergency medical procedures, Hadley Hill Equine Clinic provides our horses with quality medical treatment. Doctors Ryker, DeWitt, Shelden, and Oliai always work hard to ensure our herd is in top notch shape.
Chiropractor
Our hard working heros regularly carry precious cargo on their backs. It is only fitting that they receive the best chiropractic care from Equine Skeletal Balancing. Blaine Prieur certainly knows his way around horses and keeps our herd feeling good.
