Interested in volunteering with an amazing organization where you get lots of hands-on interaction with horses, goats, donkeys, a pig, and much more? OATS is the place for you! At OATS, we will train you to handle our horses safely from day one. No experience needed! We accept volunteers of all ages (those under 12, make sure to bring your adult!). Volunteers can sign up to be teamed with a team leader and work with a pasture of horses to enhance their training and health. The HEAT program features an exercise and training plan for each horse that supports their specific needs. Working directly with specific horses enhances their bond with different people, supports their muscle maintenance, and ensures long-term health for the herd.
