Have you sent your RSVP?

What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than showing how much you care? Our riders would care very much if you would join us for the annual O.A.T.S. Dinner Dance & Silent Auction on Sat., Feb. 16 at White Lake Oaks. There's still time to RSVP. Just go to and you can download an invitation with all the details and response card. If you can't attend, maybe you can make a small donation in honor of someone you love. It will last a lot longer than some flowers or chocolate. Questions? Give us a call at 248.620.1775.

Horses for Heroes program coming to O.A.T.S.

Our horses have been heroes to our riders for years. Now they're going to be the same for some of our country's heroes: our veterans. O.A.T.S. and the General Motors Veteran's Affinity Group will be running a four-week program from Mar. 12 to Apr. 13 for up to eight veterans in need of the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and the smiles it brings. We'd like to thank Sharon Greene of The Oakland Press for writing a story about the program, and all her support.

An O.A.T.S. moment:

These kinds of rides might be a few months off yet, but the smiles always shine at O.A.T.S.

Our mission
To promote the health, happiness & well-being of handicapped individuals through horseback riding and related activities.

With love and sympathy

Please join us in keeping rider and volunteer Sarrah Palmer and her mom, O.A.T.S. instructor Rita O'Brien in your heart as they grieve the loss of Rita's mother, Ruth O'Brien. You can send condolences to Sarrah and Rita at 76 E. Burdick, Oxford, MI 48371.
