As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, O.A.T.S. wouldn’t be possible without the time donated by our volunteers and the generous support of the community. Ever mindful of the financial burden of caring for the disabled, O.A.T.S. has always strived to keep program costs low, making contributions from those outside of the organization critical to our present and future operation. Here are some of the ways you can help us offer alternative therapy with smiles for the next 10 years and beyond…
MONETARY DONATION: unlike larger non-profits, you can be sure your donation goes straight to our horses’ mouths—and to directly support a local program backed by 10 years of success. CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP: Many companies, small and large (click here for a list), have recognized the importance of therapeutic horseback riding and supported our program. In addition to monetary and product donations, companies have also donated funds raised through “Casual Day,” a portion of a day’s receipts and brought employees out to volunteer. In exchange, you will receive:
· Mention in our newsletter (mailed to 200+ recipients) · An ad/link on our website · Placement of your banner at O.A.T.S. (if applicable) · The satisfaction of knowing your contribution helps more than 100 disabled children and adults · Our deepest gratitude
VOLUNTEERS: We are always in need of and welcome volunteers! No previous experience with horses or the disabled is necessary; all you need is a smile! We will train you. HORSE ADOPTION: For a $2,000 donation, you can adopt one of the heroes of our program:our wonderful horses. Your contribution will cover a year’s cost of feed and veterinary and farrier care.

MAKE O.A.T.S. YOUR DESIGNATED CHARITY: For weddings, other happy occasions or to honor the passing of a loved one with a memorial that will make an immediate difference.
WE’LL TAKE YOUR RETURNABLES!: Just give us a call and let us know you’ll be dropping them off at O.A.T.S. This successful program has allowed us to purchase big-ticket items for our dinner dance silent auction and more.
HORSE/PONY DONATION: Horses at O.A.T.S. get regular care, exercise, a new purpose in life and lots of love from some very special people. If your horse is mature, gentle, sound and well trained, please contact O.A.T.S. about a possible donation.
